Ran across this site today while looking for farm or CSA software.   

Foodzie.com is a cool little merchant site for small artisan food producers and growers. 

Maybe I'm just ready for lunch, but the jams and cheeses, bakery and snack shop just look great.  There is a lot of emotion in food and Foodzie does a great job in capturing it!  I'd love to put my salsa and seasoning recipes on there.  Maybe after lunch.

For you bacon lovers - I know you're out there - check out the Bacon Caramels by Luca Chocolate...mmm...bacon and caramel....

New Diet

So in honor of the continuing financial crisis, I've switched diets from The Husband Diet to a new diet I'm calling the Economic Diet.

Here's how it works.  It's basic economics of supply and demand.  I have too much of a resource of fat stored up in my body.  This means my supply side is too high and my demand side is too low.  So...(you guessed it) I'm lowering my supply and raising the demand(i.e. eating less and exercising more) to reduce my storehouse or inventory of fat. 

15 pounds off so far....

The Husband Diet

So I decided to try a brand new diet that is out on the market.  Cathy says it's perfect for me!

It's the Husband Diet - here's how it works:

When my stomach is growling - I just don't listen.
When my legs are screaming at me from climbing too many hills - I just don't listen.
When the little voice in my head says "just 10 more minutes in bed" - I just don't listen.
When the chips are calling my name in the pantry - I just don't listen.
When my empty glass is asking for one more pour of wine - I just don't listen.
When the Reeses Pieces in the candy drawer whisper in unison "just one, just one..." I just don't listen.

So far I've lost 10 pounds because the Husband Diet is based on the one skillset I have perfected!
