The goal of twitterforfood.com is to get people on twitter (there are over 100 million now worldwide) to stop once a month and think about the people that are hungry around them. If we could get just a small percentage of this 100 million to give $5 a month, the difference that would make would be incredible.
Did you know that each $1 donation can provide up to around 7 meals? If just 1% of twitter users would take notice and give $5 once a month, the total for a year would be $60 million or 420 million meals.
