The average adult blinks on average every 6 seconds or so. Every 6 seconds or so on average, a child in the world dies from a hunger related cause. You blink and another young life is gone. 16,000 a day, 667 an hour, 11 a minute, one every 6 seconds. Blink.
December 1st is the next #twitterforfood. It's my passion to make this one a global awareness campaign that spreads the word that we can do something about this unacceptable tragedy.
Let your friends know and tell them to tell their friends that on Tuesday, December 1st we are all going to skip a meal and let our world know we care about global hunger. Each of us will use the savings from skipping lunch to fund local food banks and global hunger relief organizations and commit to do our part every month in 2010. Volunteer, give, fundraise, do something every month to eliminate global hunger. Blink.
